Grappenhall Cricket Club is one of the prominent cricket clubs in the Cheshire County and plays its Senior and Junior cricket in the Cheshire County Cricket League. Our Junior teams also play cricket within the North Cheshire competition. The club has been a part of the County League set up for 30 years.
Based within the picturesque village of Grappenhall in Warrington, we boast one of the most beautiful grounds in the whole of Cheshire, along with one of the top rated cricket pitches in the county. We have a traditional clubhouse on the boundaries edge which is a great place to sit and watch cricket from with a drink in hand. Very much a traditional cricket club in a stunning setting.
We are a big part of the local community of Grappenhall and the wider community of Warrington, with close links and good working relationships with the local Parish Council and the Borough Council, plus links into local schools and a number of local community groups. Over 70% of our membership, both senior and junior, reside within 2 miles of the ground as we are a big believer in 'using and growing local' with a large proportion of our senior playing members having come up through our own youth teams.
